Establishment of Gorkha Zilla Gurung Samaj UK with the outstanding group of individuals on 29th March 2008 & bringing together the Gurungs of Gorkha District in the samaj from all over the UK.
Constitution of GzGSUK written to set fundamental principles of the Samaj.
Intensified the membership Drive.

Continuity of Membership drive & able to increased members significantly.
Winner of inter Samaj Folks dance Competition UK in 2011.
Website designed and launched.

Significant Achievements :
Second consecutive winner of the inter Samaj Folks Dance Competition UK in 2012.
Executed to invite National Artist from Nepal to protect & promote the Gurungs' Custom and Culture in the UK.
Executive Committee 2015 - 2018
Significant Achievements :
Donated the earthquake victim people in Gorkha Zilla Sum of £ 9212.75 Rs 1035000 in April 2015.
Registered the samaj in the UK Charities on 17 Oct 2017 & acquired the Charity Number 1175191.
Celebrated the 10th Anniversary.
Executive Committee 2018 - 2021
Organised first charity dinner night in 2018 and Raised £6234 from the Charity.
The National Lottery Community funds awarded a grant of £9,995 for the project "Ex elderly Gurkhas together".
Samaj donated £1001 to Gurkha Memorial Project of the first Victoria Cross recipient Kulbir Thapa's statue in Prince Garden Aldershot.
