The Greater Rushmoor Nepali Community’s intent is to establish a Gurkha Memorial in honour of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The statue will be a First Gurkha VC havildar Kulbir Thapa carrying his wounded friend (a British soldier) on his shoulder, Individuals, Communities, and Businesses are asked to contribute towards this worthy cause.

Statue in Prince Garden Aldershot. The donation was approved by Executive Committee Zoom Meeting on Saturday 27 June 2020. Donation Cheque handed to Gurkha Memorial Project (1st Gurkha VC Kulbir Thapa Statue) by Chaiman Phadakjit Gurung ,General Secretary Man Gurung , Advisor Gary Ghale ,Treasurer Dinesh Gurung & Media Secretary Suryaman Gurung.
